I have been working with Alternative Futures Group’s and attended their first EDI&B Advisory Group meeting.
“At AFG, we pride ourselves on being a Great Place to Work. As part of our ongoing strategy work, a key area of focus is around our Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (EDI&B) agenda.
Recently, we have established an EDI&B Trustee Advisory Group to oversee our work in this area and help to build upon our inclusive culture at AFG. The Advisory Group held their first meeting last week, and and will look to meet again in November as we prepare to launch our action plan.
We have also been working with Irene Afful MSc who is an award-winning consultant in this area. So far, Irene has reviewed our policies and procedures, undertaken a cultural survey, and is currently analysing the results.
We look forward to sharing more in the coming months, as we strive to ensure AFG remains a truly Great Place to Work.”
