I was delighted to attend the Liverpool Citizens Accountability Assembly, in my role as None Executive Director for The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust and Charity where leaders in the Liverpool City Region, including Council leaders and those providing health, transport and environmental services were held to account for the pledges they signed up to last year at the Founding Assembly. It was great to hear the progress that has been made on this pledges but there is still a lot of work to do. The power of community organising in action! The stars of the show were definitely the Monksdown Primary School children! Such confidence, tenacity and passion! We all could learn a lot from these young minds!
