I attended the launch of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Race Equalty Hub at Sefton Park Palm House. It was a fantastic event in beautiful surroundings with such talented speakers and performers. The event was opened by Steve Rotherham and great speeches from the REH team Alison Navarro Justine Jenkins, Brodie Arthur and Maleka Egeonu-Roby. Great to hear beautiful poetry from Natalie Denny and another wonderful Liverpool poet. I’m so excited to be working with the Hub on a project and also excited to see the transformational work the Hub will lead. Great to see some old colleagues and friends there too!
