I attended the ‘Reverse Pitch’ event hosted by Joanne Anderson, LCRCA Race Equality Hub and Izzy Obeng MBE at the Spine in Liverpool.
There were 11 investors who pitched to the entrepreneurs and Black owned businesses in the room!
What an amazing event. Often Black owned businesses experience barriers when it comes to applying for funding to start up or grow.
This event highlighted the options available to businesses to support growth. It was wonderful to see a packed room of Black and female owned businesses and entrepreneurs!
Well done to all involved Ngunan Adamu, Dr Sylvia Forchap Likambi, Justine Jenkins, Brodie Arthur, Shazney Spence, The Life Architect Monica Mwanje for putting on such an informative event!
