I was delighted to support the BBC 50:50 Project with the Northern Power Women. The project aims at improving the representation of women as content experts on radio and TV and raising the visibility and status of women professional and experts. We women have plenty to say but are often overlooked when it comes to media output. Gender equality in media is essential for balance, exposure and role models for future generations.
